I first got started working out when my buddy took me to the gym the very first time. I loved it! I realized that it would change my body and that I really enjoy it. I was so tired of being soggy and I knew it was time to do something about it. I started hardcore and never let up.
It was all based on motivation. I knew it was something that I wanted and I would do whatever I needed to get it. There were times when I had to hit the gym at 5 o'clock in the morning before school but it never phased me. It really helped me build mental strength. I knew that I had made so much progress; I couldn't stop. I really think that God helped me out a lot.
The bible says that all good things come from Jesus Christ and after a lot of prayer I realized He would supply motivation to stay fit physically as well as spiritually. Bodybuilding.com has really helped out a lot as well. I used to read all the articles about different workouts and stuff. It's always good to hear from people who have been working out a lot longer than I have and to hear what has worked for them.
I took Muscle Milk and NO-Xplode. I also took Hydroxycut Hardcore for a few months as well as SizeOn. I was on SizeOn for about 3 weeks and then I ran out. But there is no substitute for hard work!

I did cardio most days or every other day. I let my legs take care of their selves with the cardio. I did squats about once a week.
Never give up! Even when that Big Mac looks really good. Always try to remember the progress that you have made. That will help you get past the temptation. Envision what you want to look like, whether dropping few pounds or getting ready for a contest, and strive after it with all you got.
Motivation is key. If you don't have motivation then you will fall away very quickly. Find the motivation you need to start and the rest will come easy. Also, nothing substitutes for hard work. All the supplements in the world won't help you if you aren't willing to work hard for what you want. ![]()
