Richard Choueiri


Background

Richard is an ACSM certified personal trainer and a current Rutgers University student. He started working out in 2004 and began learning about physiology, nutrition, and several other exercise related subjects. He also began training in mixed martial arts in 2006, including Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (submission grappling) and Muay Thai (striking with punches, kicks, knees, and elbows). His main future goal is to become an orthopaedic surgeon specializing in sports medicine.

Among the many health and fitness topics that he will be writing about include resistance training, cardiovascular training, mixed martial arts training, stretching, nutrition, supplementation, recovery, and disease prevention.
