Michael Evan Rousis (MER)

Background

Well, I'm quite interested in joining your team. Not to just get the free supplements, but to teach others what they have NOT been taught. Some of your other teens have been teaching others to do High sets and high reps for mass and that concerns me as I use to follow that routine when I began. So I'm looking to post some good information and Supplement reviews as I have tried almost every type of meal replacement, whey powder, ceatine, protein bar, and glutamine supplement available today. Later in life I'm pursuing my lifelong goal of competing in natural competitions side by side with Skip La Cour.

What started me in bodybuilding? I was 5'2 and almost 16 years old...I had stopped eating due to others making fun of my weight...I went down to 90-95 pounds after only eating a few bowls of cereal a week. I was pushed around, called names, though I had a lot of friends.

Some of my friends said working out and eating is the only key. I didn't believe it I thought my body was good. Then a few days later my girlfriend told me I was getting really skinny so I went into depression for a day or two and decided that this wasn't gonna happen again...no one will call me skinny again. So I signed up with one of my friends at the local Community Center and started lifting weights. I gained and gained, eating more every day. I started out taking whey protein, a month later I started taking creatine. My results came and I was beginning to gain some confidence.

Today is my birthday (April 28th) and I'm 17 years old. I am now 5'5 and almost 145 pounds with maybe 9-10 body fat. I have talked to some of the best bodybuilders and soaked up knowledge since day one. You know what I learned? Most the things I learned from books like Arnolds Bodybuilding Enc. were all wrong. I now support AST's Max-OT program which has gained me 11 pounds so far and I continue to gain.

Update! I now weigh 149. (May 30, 2001)
