Our Teen Bodybuilder of the Week was...
Manpreet (Manny) Singh
How Did You Get Started?
On August 16, 1999, my brother, Jas Dhillon introduced
me to the sport of bodybuilding. Since then it has changed
my perspective on life. If there is one person that I
can thank for helping me be where I am today, it would
have to be my one and only brother (Other than my mom
and dad)!
What Workout Plan Worked Best For You?
What Supplements Have Given You The Greatest Gains? Most definitely creatine provided me with some initial muscle gains, but I personally believe that there is no better supplement than "hard work" and "persistence." You can only go as far as you push! Also...YOU HAVE TO EAT BIG TO GET BIG! Why do you love Bodybuilding?
If you feel passionate about your dreams,
make then goals! And if it's what you really want,
then you'll do whatever it takes to achieve it. No
matter how much SWEAT, PAIN, and SACRIFICE - no matter
how many obstacles you have to break through. Just
NEVER SAY NEVER when it pertains to your goals! At
times, I felt as if my muscles were shrinking, but I
knew I couldn't give up. I was determined to add that
inch on my arms and was able to do so by hard work,
persistence, motivation, and determination. What Are Your Future Bodybuilding Plans? I am currently 190 lbs and one of my goals is to get up to 210 lbs and still be ripped! I will continue to improve and sculpt my body for the rest of my life...it is not something I have to do but something I love and enjoy! What One Tip Would You Give Other Bodybuilders?
Who Are Your Favorite Bodybuilders?
There is just one bodybuilder that I look up to
and that is my brother! He is my brother and my best
friend. My favorite professional bodybuilder is most
DEFINITELY ARNOLD SCHWARZENEGGER! He is just
amazing...no other bodybuilder compares and never
will! His hard work and determination has given him
success in all aspects! You kick a$$ Arnold!
Special Thanks to George Hassemer for his support and
believing in my abilities to succeed!

Bodybuilding has given me so many benefits
from a better physique to motivation to
succeed. When I started bodybuilding I was six feet
tall and weighed in at 139 pounds. I was as scrawny as
one can get. I was so weak that I could hardly bench
press 70 pounds, nearly half of my bodyweight at the
time. I would see others looking at me to get a good
laugh. That made me want to train even harder. After
about six months of training, I began to appreciate
certain aspects of my body that I was previously not
aware of and my attitude began to change. After
approximately 4 years of training I have added at
least 50 pounds of lean mass and am able to bench 250
lbs., unlike the 70 lbs. I did before.
Bodybuilding is intriguing to so many people just to
look good, but to me it is much more. First you have
to have dreams. Listen to yourself as you follow your
dreams. And surround yourself with people who bring
out the best in you and believe in you. Don't just
listen to people who don't. Bodybuilding has set a
foundation for me to succeed from. For example,
gaining an inch on my arms took long hard work,
determination and persistence. I worked very hard
everyday at the gym, but I soon learned that hard work
wasn't good enough. I slowly learned from my mistakes
and began to train smart by changing my workout
routine.
Don't incorporate bodybuilding into your life if you
are doing it to impress the ladies. If you do it for
yourself and no other person....everything will fall
into place and the ladies will follow! Belive in
YOURSELF!
