How Did You Get Started?

I got started after I stopped playing soccer for a professional team in the youth academy. I had played soccer at this high standard for 7 years and when I stopped I had loads of spare time on my hands. I wanted to fill this spare time and being as I had a lean base due to lots of Cardio I decided to add some muscle mass.

Once I started and saw my first gains after a month or so, I was hooked and haven't looked back since. There is something about training that feeds an inner hunger.

Why Do You Love Bodybuilding?

I love the confidence it brings. Looking good and having a balanced physique is really important for me and it gives me much more will power. I love the huge pump during a tough yet controlled contraction, and I love the way it makes me feel when I'm working out and lifting big weights. It makes me feel powerful, like an animal!!

What Are Your Future Bodybuilding Plans?

I want to continue training, get bigger and more ripped and work on balance and symmetry a bit more (bring up my weaker parts) I also want to continue to eat healthily and enjoy the sport! I possibly want to look into competing in some amateur shows within the next year.

What One Tip Would You Give Other Bodybuilders?

Always train smart and listen to your body. To make steady gains I have always said that "It is not the weight you are lifting but how you progressed to reach that weight, that counts." Also make sure to eat a good balanced diet that meets the demands of your training else you will sacrifice development.
