I'm Big, But I Can't Get My Arms Over 18 Inches! Help?
I'm big all over, but I can't get my arms beyond 18", any recommendations?
It takes years and years to get past the 18" mark. I myself am currently at 17.25". In order to work towards arms that size, you have to train the entire arm
heavy. That means both biceps AND triceps. Too many times people just focus on the biceps and neglect the back of the arm. In reality, the triceps are larger
than the biceps. But no other muscle pops up when you flex it like the biceps. I highly recommend these exercises to induce growth (if your diet is up to par):
Biceps
Barbell Curls - View Exercise
Dumbbell Curls - View Exercise
Hammer Curls - View Exercise
Cable Curls - View Exercise
Triceps
Skull Crusher - View Exercise
Pressdowns (Rope, straight bar, reverse) - View Exercise
Machine Dip - View Exercise
I myself prefer the 4-6 rep range and highly recommend it, but you are free to use what you want.
