How Did You Get Started? I have always lifted in grade school throughout high school. I really became interested in bodybuilding my senior year in high school, and it has stuck with me ever since. What Workout Plan Worked Best For You?
What Nutrition Plan Has Worked Best For You? I always try to incorporate a significant amount of protein in my diet, and I eat about 3 fat/protein meals and 3 carb/protein meals a day, trying to take in around 3000 calories or so each day. I get my protein sources from shakes, eggs, tuna, steak, chicken, etc., and I try to keep my carbs limited to whole grains and a lot of vegetables…but I’m not too strict with my nutrition plan, because every once in a while I will treat myself to a treat like some ice cream, because if I don’t I’ll go crazy. What Supplements Have Given You The Greatest Gains? I would have to say just plain old Creatine and Glutamine. Why do you love Bodybuilding?
I love bodybuilding because it enables me to set goals and allows me to see if I can accomplish them with discipline and hard work. I feel better about myself because of bodybuilding and I think controlling your own body through discipline and good nutrition is very tough to do. I would like to thank my lifting partners/trainers Brent Vleck, Rick Antin, and Bill Vancise for always encouraging and straight motivating me.
What Are Your Future Bodybuilding Plans? I don’t really have any future plans, just to try and get bigger every day and more ripped, but I don’t see myself doing any competitions or anything. What One Tip Would You Give Other Bodybuilders? NEVER sacrifice form for weight. It is QUALITY over QUANTITY, and that’s what makes you grow. Who Are Your Favorite Bodybuilders? My favorite bodybuilders are Jay Cutler and Ronnie Coleman.
