Our Teen Bodybuilder of the Week was...

How Did You Get Started?
About 3 years ago after taking my top off in school lots of people said I was really big and muscular although I realized I just looked bigger because I was really ripped. This being the case I felt like I wanted to actually put on some real muscle now and get a lot bigger in size.
Not long after, I joined my local gym which was quite basic and was just using the machines. As time went on I learned new techniques from guys in the gym and looking at the size of them really made me want to get bigger quicker. I started training using more free-weight exercises and after my first year noticed a difference. Since then I have progressed and have joined a better more advanced gym which I have been at for the last year.

What Nutrition Plan Has Worked Best For You?
During the first year of my bodybuilding I did not keep to a diet and was unaware of how important diet actually is. Over the last year I have been eating much better which has helped me to gain size and have better symmetry. I make sure that my meals are healthy and have a lot of carbs in which will help me put on weight and get bigger.
I also make sure that I get enough protein in my body throughout the day to keep me going before the gym and then to help my muscles recover after the gym. My meals throughout the day usually consist of: tuna, pasta, rice, vegetables, chicken, cod, 5 poached eggs in the morning with 2 pieces of brown bread toast. I also drink a lot of water when not drinking one of my protein shakes throughout the day.
What Supplements Have Given You The Greatest Gains?
I don't really use many supplements, except for the USN Muscle Fuel. I have tried a few other supplements such as creatine monohydrate and Maximuscle Progain, but I am satisfied just sticking to the USN for now as it is quite expensive to use all of these supplements.
Why do you love Bodybuilding?
I love bodybuilding because it makes me feel amazing after noticing an increase in strength or size which gives me confidence and makes me want to get bigger and bigger. Also I have learned discipline from the hard work when training in the gym because I always try to maximize my output and push myself harder and harder. It started off for me wanting to get bigger and stronger now it has turned into a bit of an obsession and I never want to stop weightlifting altogether.
What Are Your Future Bodybuilding Plans? I plan to carry on training hard and reach my goal of getting much bigger and stronger so hopefully in the future I may compete in some competitions. What One Tip Would You Give Other Bodybuilders? Don't be lazy. Always stick to it and always push yourself to the limit as you will benefit from it later on. Who Are Your Favorite Bodybuilders?
My favorite bodybuilder would have to be Arnold Schwarzenegger. I have found a lot of his exercises and techniques really helpful in my workouts. He is the King of bodybuilding.
