Today I'd like to talk about one of the most important variable to being successful in bodybuilding. Oh great, another article on diet. Nope, wrong. Today I'm going to talk about something far more important, that you must carry with you at all times. What I'm talking about is an open mind.
A lot of us get so caught up in what we're doing, that we fail to realize there are always other methods. When people try to offer us advice, even though we may agree on the outside, in our minds we're saying to our selves "D@mn, what is this guy thinking?" You must realize that which works for one person may not work for another, and the only way to know if it will work for you is to try.
Lately I've noticed the same. Often I'll be talking to other lifters, and just totally throw off what they're saying as being wrong. About nine months ago, I never thought HIIT would work. However, when I stopped the intense labor, it no longer worked as well, and I had to go back to using a slightly higher volume.
With so many different methods in this sport it is quite hard to be wrong. The only method that is wrong is one that doesn't work for you, and the only way to know how is to try.
Trial and error is a huge part of bodybuilding, and the only way to success is to try. Don't limit your self. Recommend this article to a friend by e-mail here!
