Introduction to Ben's Training Journal
Hey everyone,
My name's Ben, I'm a teen bodybuilder who's been training on and off for the
last 2 and a half odd years. The reason I have been going on and off is for
medical reasons (the last break, I took 3 months off when I was in hospital
for some of that). The annoying thing is that I unfortunately lost some of
my hard earned muscle in these breaks.
Anyway, I've got the next 2 months in
front of me to train hard and change my physique totally thanks to
everything I've learnt over the past 2 and a half years. Of course the
supplements from Bodybuilding.com, which incidentally are the cheapest on the
net, are helping tons!
My aim though this journal is to provide bodybuilders of all ages (not
just teens) something to use as a base for their own training. My personal
goal is to do the impossible - Add lots of muscle and cutup at the same time,
which much to my disagreement many think you can't!
Anyone who has read Skip
La Cour's training journal will know what sort of structure this journal
will take. I'm going to include one article, then my diet, lifting and
cardio for the day as well as my supplement intake for the day.
I'm a huge
fan of Skip La Cour (if you haven't noticed by now) and like him I will be
lifting 5 days a week and doing cardio 6 days a week! Some would say I'm
nuts, but this plan has worked for me before and I've got no doubts it will
work this time. I've got one of the biggest supplement plans in teen bodybuilding
and it must be one of the best! :P
I will be available to answer questions
most days on Bodybuilding.com's Message Boards. Just look under the Teen
Bodybuilding section. For those who have sent mail to my old addresses
listed on this site, unfortunately I no longer use them. Just post the
questions on my section of the boards!
