How Did You Get Started? I began exercising and changing my diet about three years ago when I was not happy with the way I looked. I decided to do some research on the internet and figure out what the best plan of action would be for me. I started just with simple push-ups and crunches in my house until I was in good enough shape to hit the gym. Once I began to see results, I couldn't stop. I am extremely dedicated and that is why I look the way I do.
What Workout Plan Worked Best For You? The plan that works best for me is a five day training routine. This includes one day of rest after four days of exercise. What Nutrition Plan Has Worked Best For You? As of now I follow a diet between 4500 and 5000 calories a day. I eat very clean all year round. The main foods of my diet are skinless chicken breasts, tuna, oatmeal, brown rice, beef, whole grain breads and cereals, and egg whites. I never eat fast food and when I eat out I always choose healthy options with chicken, fish, or beef. This type of diet has led me to my goals. I eat the aforementioned foods almost everyday, while also adding some other good options such as peanut butter, almonds, and always vegetables. I try to eat a full 500 to 600 calorie meal every two hours during the day. What Supplements Have Given You The Greatest Gains? My favorite supplements have always been MuscleTech supplements. I have used Nitro-Tech, Cell-Tech, and Nano Vapor and find them all very helpful. In addition, I also take a multi-vitamin, fish oils, L-Carnitine, and I also like Optimum Nutrition's Pro Complex. Why Do You Love Bodybuilding? I love bodybuilding for a couple reasons. First of all, it is a challenge every single day. There is no off day for a bodybuilder and that is what I love about it. There is no other activity I have found where I am instantly rewarded after completing it. After a good workout the pump is a great feeling and seeing gains week after week is what keeps me going.
What Are Your Future Bodybuilding Plans? I want to start getting involved in natural competitions around my area. I am not really sure how to go about getting involved, but any advice would be greatly appreciated. What One Tip Would You Give Other Bodybuilders? The one thing that most people over look is the diet. Stay as strict as possible with your diet as you can, don't drink alcohol, and never miss a workout. If you do this you will surely achieve your goals. Who Are Your Favorite Bodybuilders? Johnnie Jackson, Jay Cutler, and Ronnie Coleman. More Bodybuilder Profiles:
