Friday, May 31, 2002 Alright well sorry for hte brevity of my previous reports; I'm back on track and here's my entry for today. Before I get started, hwoever, I wanted to update you wtih my current schedule for lifting/eating. Diet/Supplementation 6,000+ calories(yes, not a typo) a day. I have an unbelieveably fast metabolism to begin with. 500 g protein. People always tell me I'm overdoing it here, and maybe I am; however, I have seen success with my methods. If you don't like them, don't emulate them; simple as that. For my sources, in addition to foods such as steak, eggs, chicken, etc. I use Optimum Whey protein powder, Methoxy-Pro protein powder, and Nitro-Tech protein bars. 80+ g clean unsaturated fats low glycemic carbohydrates. I want the mass I pack on to be quality muscle and not fat. Thus, these carbs are going to replenish my muscles and not get turned into the bad mass. Creatine. Staple in everyone's bulking routine, 'nuff said. 25g/day for loading, and 12g/day for maintenance. Glutamine. I always use around 10g of this a day. Multivitamin. First thing in the morning with breakfast. B6 and B12. Post workout I use these. Not sure if they're doing anything, but I got in the habit of using them awhile ago and they're really cheap too. Training Six day split; 2 on, 1 off. Pretty simple. Day 1:Chest Day 2:Back Day 3:Off Day 4:Arms/Shoulders Day 5:Legs Well, onto today's workout... Weight: 234.8 Squats 135x10 225x10 315x10 405x8*I could have done at least two or three more, but I'm looking to hit a max next week so I didn't want to kill myself here. Plus, the lower back pain I normally get from gaining weight was bothering me some as well. Hack Squats 135x10 315x10 Leg Press 14platesx10 18platesx4 Leg Extension 4 sets (supersets) Leg Curls 5 sets Weights were light todya, but I'm happy with my progress. Squats took a big jump this week from last week, and I am beginning to surpass my old bulking phase strength levels. Football camp is in 3 weeks, and I'm praying that the lower back pain goes away by then....oh well I'm going to stay optimistic. Thanks for reading, -Ben BnnRx@aol.com
