Growth In Short Time!
By: Ben C.
Everyone wonders the secret of seeing your muscles grow a large amount in
just a short timespan - say 24 HOURS!! I'm going to tell you this secret
that seems to have evolved over quite a few years.
Well a few weeks ago at the gym I got passed on the secrets of success... and when I tried it - it seemed to work. Now in just 12 hours you can make huge musclular growth.
Here's how it works - it's really really simple.
Over a twelve hours period example:
6am - 6pm, 7am - 7pm, 8am - 8pm, etc., etc., you
need to work the muscle group on the hour every hour. Let's say for arguments sake your calves are lacking in size and you just can't seem to do anything to make them grow! Well every hour on the hour(6am,7am,8am,9am,10am,11am,12am,1pm etc., etc.) you need to work your calves doing just one set each hour.
In simple form here's how it works:
The standard exercise for calves is the calve raise... you start at 7am and you use a weight that allows you to do no more than 8 reps for ONE set. Then at 8am you use a weight that allows you to do around 17 reps for ONE
set.
Continue one set of 17 reps for ONE set until 7pm (12 hours - from 7am to
7pm).
In each set you need to keep your muscles growing - PROTEIN :).
So I suggest you have a protein shake, fish, etc., in between.
So in a table this is how it works:
12 HOURS (7AM-7PM)
7am - 1 set, 8 reps.
7:30 - Protein
8am - 1 set, 17 reps
8:30 - Protein
9 - 1 set, 17 reps
9:30 - Protein
10 - 1 set, 17 reps
10:30 - Protein
11 - 1 set, 17 reps
11:30 - Protein
12 - 1 set, 17 reps
12:30 - Protein
1 - 1 set, 17 reps
1:30 - Protein |
2 - 1 set, 17 reps
2:30 - Protein
3 - 1 set, 17 reps
3:30 - Protein
4 - 1 set, 17 reps
4:30 - Protein
5 - 1 set, 17 reps
5:30 - Protein
6 - 1 set, 17 reps
6:30 - Protein
7 - 1 set, 17 reps |
NOTE: Please remember that this worked for me and may not work for you and
if you do not think you're up to doing this then don't try it because you
will only put undue stress on the related bodypart.
Enjoy and happy growing,
Ben

Take A Well Earned Break
The time comes when you just need to take a break from it all.
Being burnt out is a major problem plaguing bodybuilders and fitness
finatics alike. People who train 7 days a week are likely to spend a few
months keeping up with it and then the disipline and intensity in the gym
begins to decline and before long you're just not going anything anymore.
If you reach a time where you just aren't growing or your tired, sick and
just bored of bodybuilding take a week or two off. Not only will your muscle
most likely grow in that time but you will come back feeling stronger and
better than ever and ready to get back to training.
Another thing is, don't train strenuously more than 4 days a week, because
unless your some sort of Lance Armstrong then you are not going to be able
to keep up 5, 6 or 7 days of full-on workouts in the gym.
Another way to do it is have alternate weeks.
One week you do 3 or 4 days in the gym and the following week you do 4 to 6
days in the gym, knowing that the week after will be softer with less days
in the gym.
But remember do everything you can to stop yourself from burning out!
Till next time,
Ben

My View on Steroids
In my view I think steroids are a big "NO"! What's the point? sure you will
have achieved a lot more, you'll be bigger, you might look better but you
also have decreased your lifespan and personally I feel it's not worth it.
Plus what's the point feeling great that you've achieved heaps in your
bodybuilding career? - when you've been aided in your growth by using
steroids which have bad side effects and in my opinion it's just not worth
it.
Obviously I'm actually the minority on this. If you feel you wanna use
steroids go ahead! They will bring you results, I'm not saying they won't
but they may not bring you the satisfaction that natural bodybuilders gain
from the growths they make naturally.
But I'll leave it purely up to you to decide, it's a personal choice, I'm
making an un-educated statement here as I don't know a lot about steroids, I
just happen to be against them and for natural bodybuilding for the
satisfaction you get from making good natural gains.
Cheers,
Ben
