Background
I started to lift when I was in fourth grade. My dad got my a pair of
dumbbells for Christmas. I started out doing bench press, shoulder press, and
curls. I became more dedicated to my lifting during the spring of my 8th
grade year. Since then I've been lifting almost nonstop. For my workouts I
like to arm myself with an arsenal of motivational quotes and a commitment to
every time I touch the bar I'm going to work to getting stronger. I don't
believe in the entire "get buff for girls look", I'd rather get strong for
sports.
